This is Enormously Sad
The French have now banned toplessness on the beaches in Paris. This is incredibly sad. And I don't mean that in a sexual manner, this is part of their culture.
I wouldn't be surprised if this is in response to demographic changes. I find it hard to believe that there isn't more of an uproar about it. I'm very sad for them.

I'm missing something...
Lord have mercy. What's next... a law requiring French women to shave their arm pits?
I've never seen that there, these sterotypes. French women are a lot more of a "finished product" than most American women are - I mean where presentation is concerned.
And there's none of this back fat hanging over the top of your low rise jeans going on.
I was in France in 2000 and didn't notice any of the stereotypes (body stench, body hair, or rudeness). I tried to speak as much French as I could but everyone just started speaking in English. Whether they ripped on me in French afterward for being a "stupid American" I don't know.
I want to go back and appreciate Paris while not suffering from jetlag, but I'm still boycotting French wine.
Rush tied this story to France's growing Muslim population today on his show.
