A Girl's Gotta Do What A Girl's Gotta Do....

Well, of course, after the gorgeous Vogue 9558 is complete :)

Photo courtesy of Evadress.com. I will be making the slacks (dark blue, on left). I will need to do a lot of fitting because I am a lot smaller (a 1942 size 18 is a 2006 size 8) than the size, but tell me, how much more awesome could these possibly be???

I love those britches. If a 2006 size 8 is a back then 18, what on earth would a 14 be?

I am not sure, I have seen sizes in the teens and sizes in the 30/40 range but I am not sure how it correlates. Of course they measured it as 18/38 bust or 14/34 bust. What I wanna know, is what my bust has to do with my hips, which are uh, well that's where all the stuff that should be on top is, let's put it that way!

I know the clothing industry is trying to make women feel better about themselves now a days what used to be a size 10 is actually a size 8 so technically if your a 14 your really a sixteen I usually just ad 20 to the size and then you get your waist measurement 8 = 28in waist? Does this make any sense?

BTW Phel I love your style!

Thank you!

You know it's getting to the point where store-bought sizes don't work for me at all anymore. I'm currently a zero but 7 years ago at my same weight and BMI, I was a 4-6.

Oh and everything has a 32 inseam, I might add.
