A Thought on Fred Thompson
Yes, it would be great if Fred Thompson decided to run.
But I can't help but think his attributes and talent would be wasted on the current lot of "republican" lawmakers.
Most of them simply don't deserve his leadership, because in the lack of leadership, they've shown they have no ability to do the right thing.

I think I know what you think you meant.
But if you decry the Stupid Party's leggies for being Stupid because of a lack of leadership from the President (true,) then how can you intimate that a Fred T Presidency would be a bad thing, when you also acclaim him as a leader?
Perhaps we should start ousting all those incumbent RINOs with a few of the real thing? :) The Fred would have folks to work with. Just a thought.

I can't. I don't live in your district.
But that didn't stop 10 people from trying to get absentee ballots to vote for Junior McGee.
Fred would be a leader. And he can clearly articulate ideas. Like Rush, he can make the complex understandable.
We need a conservative president who can get his point across on the nightly news.
