So Cool, I Can't Figure Out What To Do With It

Have you ever seen something at an estate sale or otherwise that was so cool, so incredibly unique, you absolutely had to have it? Then you didn't do a darned thing with it?

These babies. My two atomic spotlights. I love them and find them irresistibly unique and classy and kitsch and uniquely me. But what the heck do I do with them? They have long cords, oddball lucite thingys, they get pretty hot. But I LOVE THEM!

Sigh.

I think you're inability to conjure up anything to do with these is because you were never a little boy.

Me, I'd pretend I was being chased by the aliens from War of the Worlds! Zzzzap! ZZZZZAAAP! BOOM!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

I feel your pain, I picked up a silver aluminium 5 foot Christmas tree with a rotating color changing spotlight two years ago but can't find a use for it.
As for your problem,
I'd have to find a way to mount them inside my car. How neato it would be, when asked, to tell everyone they were make out lights.

Oh now THAT I can find a use for!

In fact, it wasn't long ago that I put the pedal to the metal and took my own aluminum tree down...

I think my gyno has that same light!

She uses it to warm up the duck thing (shudder). I think the plastic swirly thing in the pic is an antique version of the duck thing (shudder again).
