This is all I can manage to say about the shooting at this point
It's remarkably similar to the mentality of one of these video games, where the player goes in and annihilates as many people as possible.
Before anyone goes off half-cocked on me, yeah I know there's a hell of a lot more to it. I know that, spare me. But this behavior closely mimics picking up the game controller. Think about it.

you're obviously right. But other thoughts occur. Here's a few in random order.
* Take one city and give everyone a copy of every violent video game ever made. I'll take another similiar city and put a significant millions into economic development. We'll compare rates of violence in ten years. I think I'll win.
* There were massacres before video games.
* Violence in schools has actually dropped in recent years, not increased.
* Even if there is a link between entertainment and bad behavior, it doesn't necessarily follow that controlling the entertainment is the best method of intervening.

FoxNews had some guy on yesterday who studies these things (yech) and stated that in EVERY case, there was a "Doom"-like comp game that had been heavily used by the perp(s).
Phel, while i agree that games are violent but for every person that acts on what he sees, there are millions of others that dont. so i dont necesseraly buy that.
and besides, others see it slightly differently.
