Brewers: I Can't Believe That Was 26 Years Ago
I was in the parking lot at Mariott's Great America when I heard Bob Uecker's infamous soundbyte about the Brewers winning....we got back to Milwaukee and people were lining the streets near my neighborhood and high-fiving us as we hung out the windows of our green station wagon.
Those were good times :)

I was at the 1982 game. There were about 6 Brewer fans amongst thousands of Orioles fans with brooms (they were expecting a sweep). Robin Yount led off the game with a solo homer against one of the greatest pitchers to play the game, Jim Palmer. The 6 of us screamed and cheered in our various corners of the ballpark while the thousands were silent. Y'all know how it went from there. Best....Game....Ever.
Baltimore. The earth must be scorched...
